A block of rooms has been reserved at the Bar Harbor Regency Resort & Marina, located at 123 Eden Street in Bar Harbor, Maine, for the evenings of October 16th, 17th, and 18th, at a rate of $149 per night (single/king) or $159 per night (double). The discounted meeting rate is available before and after the workshop dates based on availability. The Bar Harbor Regency is conveniently located near the entrance of Acadia National Park and one mile from downtown Bar Harbor. The Cardiac Physiome Workshop will take place at the hotel.
Participants are responsible for securing their own hotel reservation by calling the Bar Harbor Regency directly at 1-800-234-6835 (ask for the Cardiac Physiome Workshop rate) or by visiting the Bar Harbor Regency website (enter discount code JLM on their reservation page).
Be sure to make your reservations before the deadline of September 16, 2013. Reservations after this date will be accepted on a space available and rate available basis.
Travel
Bar Harbor is serviced by a local airport, the Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport (airport code BHB), located just 12 miles from the village, and by Bangor International Airport (BGR), only 50 miles away, both of which are easy to reach with all major US carriers flying to Boston.
Ground transportation options between Bangor and Bar Harbor are limited during October. We recommend the Bar Harbor Shuttle: approximate travel time from Bangor to Bar Harbor is 1.5 hours; one-way tickets are currently $40.
